False aneurysm of perforating branch of the deep femoral artery - Report of two cases

International Journal of Surgery Case Reports, Volume 14, Article 1431, Year 2015

Abstract Pseudoaneurysms of the deep femoral artery are uncommon and occur as a late complication of various traumas. Usually associated with femoral fractures, We report two cases of profunda femoris artery injury which presented as false aneurysm secondary to penetrating trauma. Because of its insidious onset, awareness and careful follow-up are the key issues for the early diagnosis.
