Analysis of the essential oil of Thymus riatarum

The chemical composition of the essential oil of Thymus riatarum Humbert et Maire (Lamiaceae), an endemic species of Morocco, was determined by capillary GC and GC/MS. The major constituents found were carvacrol (22.3%), p-cymene (17.5%) and α-terpinene (10.3%). © 1991 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
