Halos of heavy neutrinos around baryonic stars

The properties and the observational implications of degenerate heavy neutrino matter that is gravitationally bound by baryonic stars is investigated with special emphasis on the 17 keV neutrino. As a test of our ideas we propose a new experiment aimed at observing the radiative decay of this controversial neutrino. © 1992.
