Psychopathology of psychiatric disorders among adolescents in Senegal-Concerning 5 cases monitored in the Child Psychiatry Department of the National Psychiatric Hospital of Thiaroye Psychiatric disorders in adolescents have rarely been studied in Senegal. The authors, based on the analysis of five clinical situations of adolescents treated at Child Psychiatry Department of the National Psychiatric Hospital of Thiaroye, show how disturbances presented by these adolescents may be related not only to the history of the psychological development of child's period of becoming an adult but also with the history of parenting itself by their parents.
