High-order embedded runge-kutta-nystrom formulae

IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis, Volume 7, No. 4, Year 1987

New efficient embedded Runge-Kutta-Nystrom processes of orders 8(6) and 12(10) are presented for the numerical solution of the special second-order differential equation y'(x) = f[x, y(x)]. Test results indicate their improved efficiency relative to other RKN formulae in current use. © 1987 Oxford University Press.
