Fibrosarcoma at the site and immediately following small‐pox vaccination

1. A case of fibrosarcoma following a small‐pox vaccination using the gun device has been described.This is probably the first case of its type. 2. The causal relationship is briefly discussed in the light of modern research and the conclusion is drawn that a casual association would appear unlikely.
