Tinidazole therapy in lambliasis and amoebiasis

Tinidazole in various dosage schedules was used to treat G. lamblia infections, acute intestinal amoebiasis and chronic intestinal amoebiasis. Cure rates obtained were 100%, 94.5% and 100%, respectively. The drug was well tolerated, safe and the side effects encountered were trivial.
