Photogrammetry in structural characterization of limestones massifs

With the use of geotechnology, in particular cases, it is possible the identification and fast characterization of geological structures existing a certain area, with less need for more costly field studies. This study analy-ses through the data collected by the aero photogrammetric survey by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), the occurrences of the discontinuities existing in the limestone massi f, helping the decision of the exploration planning works. The 3D modeling resulting from the processing of the data allows with the use of the proposed methodology, the characterization of these discontinuities, as well as its statistical treatment, with a precision that traditional measurement may not provide.
