Aortic dysphagia is a difficulty in swallowing the bolus related to extrinsic oesophagus compression from the thoracic aorta either dilated or tortuous. We report a case of a fusiform aneurysm of the aortic arch seen on the CT-scanner and compressing the thoracic esophagus, in a man of 54 years who have presented a dysphagia with solid food. Our aim is to remind this rare cause and to encourage attentions for the practical gestures of investigations of the esophagus in case of dysphagia in the elderly, such as upper digestive endoscopy.
