Description
This study addresses the adaptive control and synchronization of the modified Chua's circuit system with unknown system parameters. Adaptive control law is applied to suppress chaos to one of the three steady states. Adaptive control law is applied to achieve synchronization of two identical modified Chua's circuit systems. Routh-Hurwitz criteria and Lyapunov direct method are used to study the asymptotic stability of the steady states. Numerical simulations are included to show the effectiveness of the proposed control method. © 2002 Elsevier Science Inc. All rights reserved.
