Description
The flow of an incompressible third-grade fluid past an infinite porous plate subject to suction and blowing at the plate is studied numerically. Two distinct heat transfer problems are studied. In the first case, the plate is assumed to be at a higher temperature than the fluid; and in the second case, the plate is assumed to be insulated. The non-dimensional form of the equations are presented, and the velocity and the temperature profiles for various values of the appropriate dimensionless parameters are also given. © 1993.
