Description
Invasion of the footpads of 3 captive Central African hedgehogs (Erinaceus albiventris) by Candida albicans is described. All the infections occurred during a period of high rainfall, and no free animal captured at this time was similarly affected. In 2 hedgehogs the lesions healed spontaneously. © 1975 Dr. W.
