Description
In the theoretical framework of the left-right symmetric model, we report on the discovery potential for new charged gauge bosons (WR+ and WR-) as well as right-handed Majorana neutrinos (Nl's) at the future CERN LHC. The pp→WR→lNl, signals have been simulated in the ATLAS detector. Discovery contours in the (mWR,mNl) plane as well as a study of observable polarization effects are presented. ©2000 The American Physical Society.
