Evolution of tuberculosis in the OCEAC member states

The authors are recording results form a ten-year control of pulmonary tuberculosis in OCEAC Member States. Intensification of bacilloscopic screening, maintenane of BCG immunization integrated in the Expanded Programmes on Immunization of States, training and retraining of staff, promotion of lightened and standardized therapeutical schemes, must enable one to improve the output of the control whose integration to the basic sanitary structures remains a priority.
