Benziodarone - A new potent hypo uricemic drug. A clinical trial of the drug in a group of gouty patients

Benziodarone was used in 10 gouty patients, with significant drop of the serum uric acid to levels within the low normal ranges. It was found to increase the urinary clearance of uric acid. No side effects were recorded.
