Abstract Aim of work: In this study, we present our experience with correction of prominent ears by posterior scoring only without elevation of the anterior perichondrium of the auricle. Rationale: By avoiding an anterior subperichondrial flap, we managed to reduce operative time, convalescence, and complications, with no effect on postoperative outcome.
