Description
Higher order QCD corrections for large pT photoproduction are calculated. The ambiguity in the choice of the QCD large scales is dealt with using various algorithms, in particular the principle of minimal sensitivity. The optimized predictions are then compared with experiment. It is shown that photoproduction provides good tests of QCD and allows us to determine the value of ΛQCD as well as the gluon fragmentation function. © 1987.
