Description
Abstract: HLA‐A, B, C, DR and DQ typing was done on 26 black Zimbabweans with rheumatoid arthritis and the respective antigen frequencies were compared with those in a group of 119 normal individuals from the same ethnic background. Only the DR4 antigen was significantly increased in frequency in the patients, confirming the association with this disease seen in other Black African populations. Copyright © 1990, Wiley Blackwell.
