Description
Faunal remains from Chesowanja, a new Pleistocene fossil locality in the Northern Rift Valley of Kenya, include a partial cranium of a late robust australopithecine. Isotopic dates suggest an age of 1.1 to 1.2 million years for the fossiliferous sediments. © 1971 Nature Publishing Group.
