We have studied the magnetization of melt spun amorphous Fe76-xNixCr4B12Si8 alloys with (0 ≤ x ≤ 10) under magnetic fields up to 1.45 MA/m, and have analyzed the results at 8 K, based on the random magnetic anisotropy model. The presence of Cr seems to have a non-negligible effect on the local random anisotropy constant KL and the exchange constant A.
