His marked cognitive decline suggested diffuse cortical dysfunction. Ideomotor apraxia localises to the premotor cortex in the dominant hemisphere, and the right homonymous hemianopia to the left hemisphere, either along the optic tract, at the lateral geniculate body, or in the calcarine cortex.
