Description
There is an increasing awareness of an interest in ethical matters in general and communication ethics in particular. In this article it is argued that it is necessary to rethink the ethics of journalism in order to avoid the eclectical approaches that seem to be prevailing. Analytical and contextual approaches in their necessary interrelatedness are being followed. These intertwined approaches provide the possibility to rethink ethical situations and issues, and to discover the necessary relationships, their nature, their implications and the consequences of ethical acts within a Christian perspective. © 1994, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
