Construction of new soliton-like solutions of the (2 + 1) dimensional dispersive long wave equation

The construction of new soliton-like solutions of the (2+1) dimensional dispersive long wave equations was discussed. The generalization of tanh-function method such as the extended tanh-function method, the modified tanh-function method was constructed. The extension of the tanh method using the auxiliaty ordinary equation was also determined.
