Description
The thermal decomposition of native and mercerised Egyptian cotton linters, viscose rayon, and bagasse pulp was studied. The variation in the activation energy values was discussed on the basis of chemical composition and structural differences. The values of rate constant, k, and the enthalpy change, ΔH, were calculated using the theory of the first order reaction. © 1984.
