The utilization of the flash method to determine thermal contact resistance

The thermal contact resistance is a thermophysical magnitude indispensable to characterize the thermal transfer within the multilayer materials. The latter depends on several difficulty controllable parameters, This complexity often obliges to undertake measures. We have developed a method to determine the value of the thermal contact resistance between layers of a bilayer and trilayer material from the analytic resolution of the equation of the heat governing the thermal transfer in the sample by using the experimental measure curve by the flash method of the thermal diffusivity of the sample.
