Haemophilia B is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder, responsible for bleeding episodes whose severity depends on the severity of the deficiency. The case we report illustrates the management of an intracerebral haematoma in a haemophilic B patient in the absence of factor IX, and the difficulties of correcting factor IX with fresh frozen plasma. Prevention is an important part of the therapeutic management of haemophilic B patients.
