Evaluation of serum level of some biological markers in normal bilharzial infected and patients with different types of cancer

Different proteolytic enzyme systems including acid protease, collagenase and plasminogen activator showed a highly significant increase of serum of bilharziasis and bladder, liver and breast cancer patients. The three series of enzyme activities were performed in serum of males and females of both healthy normal and malignant groups. Statistical increases of the hydroxy-proline level were found in serum of bilharziasis, bladder, liver and breast cancer patients as compared to the normal control group. The increase was maximum in liver and breast cancer patients, and to a lesser extent in bladder cancer and bilharzial infested patients,__________________________________.
