Xeroderma pigmentosum and skin carcinomas in three sisters

Nouvelles Dermatologiques, Volume 32, No. 10, Year 2013

Xeroderma pigmentosum is a rare form of genetically transmitted photodermatosis, acquired by autosomal recessive transmission. It is characterised by very high skin sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation, and the early development of skin tumours. We hereby present a case of xeroderma pigmentosum in three Cameroonian sisters. © Nouv Dermatol 2013.
