The RADMASTE microscience system: Expanding the small-scale concept across the sciences in education

The RADMASTE Center designed a basic chemical kit on the micro scale in 1992 which has since been continuously developed and diversified. The need for experimentation in the sciences at school that is cost effective, convenient and suitable for use in classes without direct connections to electricity, however, is not confined to the area of chemistry. In this paper we describe how RADMASTE Center has taken the same principles of design through science to cover electricity and electronics, instrumentation and bio-microscopy.
