Two new species of the genus Sonitha Zolotuhin & Prozorov, 2010 are described from the Congolian lowland forests: Sonitha sophia sp. n. and Sonitha sara sp. n. Sonitha alucard Zolotuhin & Prozorov, 2010 is recorded from Central African Republic for the first time, and its paratype is reattributed to Sonitha sophia sp. n.
